Advanced Drop-in Classes - Fridays

Dates and Times - 2008

Friday, 8:00pm-10:00pm:
4th April  - SURPRISE (some visiting teachers!)
18th April - 1 hour of fluid, precise and complicated turns 
	     followed by invidual attention
2nd May    - Gaia and Leandro (ALL LEVELS)
16th May   - Introduction to Contra-Movement
30th May   - Komala and Stefan
13th June  - Contra-Movement
27th June  - TBC
11th July  - Jenney Surelia: Women's technique class (women only)

On the other Fridays (not listed above) there is The Practice

Aims

The aim of the class is to spend approximately:
  • 50% of the time on your tango (specific help from teachers working directly with you)
  • 30% of the time on the class theme
  • 20% of the time on general tango technique

Who Can do this Class ?

This class is suitable for dancers who, at least, are familiar with Course 3 (Medium 1 course) content.

You need to attend this class with a dance partner (if you want to attend this class then ask someone to do it with you, and if you have trouble finding a dance partner for this class then use the E-Group)

Typically, you will spend about 60% of the time with your dance partner, 30% with other dancers and 10% with a teacher.

Price

£10 (£8 concession) for local teachers
£15 (£10) for visiting teachers.
