Tango Bar Club Constitution 1. Tango Bar
1.1 The name of the Club shall be "Tango Bar", hereafter referred to as the Club
2. Membership
2.2 Membership of the Club shall be open to the general public.
2.3 All members are required to abide by the rules of the club.
3. Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Club shall be:
The aim of Tango Bar is to provide the best possible environment for dancing and learning tango, in Cambridge. 4. Committee
4.1 The Club shall have a committee consisting of at least the following:
  • President
  • Secretary
    4.2 The role of the committee is to manage all.shtmlects of the Club’s administration.
    5. Duties of Committee Members:
    5.1 The President shall:
  • be responsible for the constitutional running of the Club
  • be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of all the Club activities.
    5.2 The Secretary shall:
  • keep a full list of membership.
  • keep a file of all correspondence for the current year and the previous two years.
  • keep a record of and oversee all financial transactions of the Club.
    6. Finance:
  • The club shall run as a non-profit making organisation where all of the income is invested in the club.
    7. Discipline:
    7.1 Failure of a Club member to adhere to the Club Constitution, regulations code of Practice or Guidelines may result in one of the following actions being taken by the committee:
  • A written caution.
  • Exclusion from Club Activities.
    7. Rules of Behaviour:
    7.1 All club members are required to behave in a responsible and respectful manner towards each other. Any club member who is found (by the committee) to have done one or more of the following may have disciplinary action taken against them:
  • Brought the club into disrepute.
  • Behaved anti-socially.
