Intermediate Course (Course 2)

Once you are confident with the content of the beginners (1a) and social dancing (1b) courses, and have danced for a few months then you can do this course.

The Intermediate Course covers:
  • improved embrace and posture(including an introduction to dancing in close embrace)
  • improved connection with your partner
  • music interpretation and rhythm (simple rhythmical dancing variations)
  • contra time movements
  • more pivots
  • giro (turn)
  • circular barridas1
  • sacadas1
  • circular ganchos1
  • combining movements 2
  • classic short choreographies/sequences (lots)
  • better navigation!
