Medium2 Course (Course 4)

Once you are confident with the medium1 course you can do this course.

The majority of this course is danced in CLOSE EMBRACE (a maximum of 2 centimetres between upper bodies of dance partners).

Course Description

This course is designed for those of you who have done course 3 (Medium 1)

Course Contents

  • Posture
  • Walking
  • Close Embrace (less than 3cm between upper bodies)
  • Review previous courses
  • Music: slower movements and deceleration
  • Connection with your dance partner in circular and linear movements
  • Elliptical giros (moving the centre of the turn)
  • Transforming boleos and sacadas into ganchos
  • Linear barridas
  • Alterations
  • Improvisation of medium complexity
  • Combining Movements 4
